The author has been paying attention to financial technology, including the situation of domestic financial technology companies going overseas to Southeast Asia. On the one hand, as the demographic dividend gradually ends, the cost of traffic continues to rise, and the “ceiling effect” of the traffic of domestic Internet companies is increasingly prominent; There is substantial unmet demand for digital financial services. The huge market potential and the country email list geographical advantage of being part of the Pan-Confucian cultural circle have made Southeast Asia a major destination for fintech to go overseas.
Therefore, the author chose Akulaku, which went overseas to Southeast Asia earlier and is currently developing well, as the research object. Through the analysis of the company and its products, I hope to make a little knowledge contribution to China's fintech overseas business.
In the process of writing this article, the author believes that there are the following highlights and shortcomings.
In terms of highlights, the author went to the Internet to check a large number of English materials, and through the network information in both Chinese and English, to understand Akulaku as comprehensively as possible; in addition, the author grabbed 20,520 user reviews from the Google Play Store crawler, and found them Based on this, I did some big data analysis on Akulaku's user experience.
At the same time, this report also has at least two limitations. First of all, the author does not have the local legal ID of Akulaku's target market, and only obtained the local mobile phone number, which means that the author can only complete the user registration in the Akulaku App, but fails to pass the credit approval process. In addition, the main market Akulaku serves is in Indonesia, and the author only speaks English, not Indonesian. These two backgrounds determine that the author's immersive experience with Akulaku is not enough, and lead to the inadequacy of the author's anatomy and strategic reproduction of the product.
